Bayou Side
“After listening to the CD, Bruneck in South Tyrol suddenly does not seem so far away from the bayous of the Mississippi Delta. ‘Bayou Side’ achieved great success with their album because the band invests a great deal of feeling in reproducing archaic music styles with its diverse blend of Blues, Jazz, Shuffle, New Orleans Groove and Swing….” (Text from Rez. from “Concerto” Austria).
The band is headed by singer and guitarist Hubert Dorigatti from Bruneck, the Italian prize winner of the ‘International Blues Challenge (IBC)’ competition in Memphis. He pens the majority of the band’s compositions before working on the style and arrangement with bass player Klaus Telfser and drummer Peter Paul Hofmann. Bayou Side’s motto is to perform music in a pure and minimalist fashion, with great passion and attention to detail. Mostly acoustic instruments are used.
Despite the band’s relatively short existence (since 2010), the trio have performed in clubs and concert halls as well as at renowned blues, folk and jazz festivals in Italy, Austria and Croatia.
Bayou Side published their first CD ‘All I Feel’ in 2013 under the ‘Newport Studios’ label. Another album entitled ‘Unbound’ will be released in December 2016.

Kopf der Band ist der aus Bruneck stammende Sänger, Gitarrist und italienischer Preisträger des internationalen Blueswettbewerbs „International Blues Challenge (IBC)“ in Memphis, Hubert Dorigatti. Der Großteil der Kompositionen stammen aus seiner Feder, welche stilvoll gemeinsam mit dem Bassisten Klaus Telfser und dem Schlagzeuger Peter Paul Hofmann arrangiert werden. Das Credo von Bayou Side ist es, die Musik puristisch und minimalistisch, mit großer Leidenschaft und viel Liebe zum Detail zu spielen. Dabei kommen fast ausschließlich akustische Instrumente zum Einsatz.
Trotz relativ kurzem Bestehen der Band (2010), gelang es dem Trio neben Clubs und Konzerthäusern auf namhaften Blues-, Folk- und Jazzfestivals in Italien, Österreich und Kroatien aufzutreten.
Seine erste CD „All I Feel“ veröffentlichte Bayou Side 2013 unter dem Label
„Newport Studios“. Ein weiteres Album mit dem Titel „Unbound“ wird im Dezember 2016 erscheinen.

Bob Dylan Revisited
Bob Dylan hat in der Musikgeschichte des 20. Jahrhunderts unübersehbar seine Spuren hinterlassen. Kein anderer Vertreter der populären Musik hat mit seinen Liedern so viele Menschen bewegt wie er.
Das Projekt „Bob Dylan Revisited“ – ins Leben gerufen von Laura Willeit und Hubert Dorigatti - zeigt die Musik Dylans in einem neuen Gewand verpackt ohne dabei ihren ursprünglichen Gedanken ganz zu verlassen.
Die Songs werden in einem Jazz-Blues-Kontext arrangiert und mit unterschiedlicher Besetzung wiedergegeben - die Palette reicht vom simplen „Stimme-Gitarren-Sound“ bis zu einer ausgedehnten Besetzung bestehend aus Streichquartett und Schlagzeug.
Die nächsten Gigs|VideosBob Dylan ha lasciato tracce indelebili nella storia della musica del novecento. Nessun altro rappresentante della musica popolare ha mosso tante persone con le sue canzoni.
Il progetto “Bob Dylan Revisited” – chiamato in vita da Laura Willeit e Hubert Dorigatti – presenta la musica di Dylan in una nuova veste, senza per questo abbandonare il suo spirito originario.
Le canzoni vengono arrangiate in un contesto jazz-blues e riprodotte in formazioni diverse – il ventaglio va dal semplice stile chitarra+voce fino ad un complesso con quartetto d’archi e batteria.
